Cycling
ADVANTAGES:
- excellent cardio-vascular exercise.
- just need a bicycle and a road.
- can be included with 'real-life' activities, as transport to work/shops.
DISADVANTAGES:
- can put strain on knees and lower back
- weather-dependent for all but the most hardy
- risk of injury from motor vehicles
- doesn't exercise upper body

It does if you get a puncture and have to carry your bike home!
